Add the icon to your phone

Add jp.pyol.net to your home screen and open it with one tap, just like an app.

If you are reading this page in Safari, go straight to the next step.
Tap “…” and choose “Share”
Tap “…” next to the address bar, then choose “Share”. On iOS 18 and earlier, tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.

Tap “Add to Home Screen”
Scroll up the menu to find it. If it is not there, add it from “Edit Actions” at the very bottom.

Tap “Add” in the top-right corner
You can keep the name “jp.pyol” or change it. Leave “Open as Web App” turned on.

Done when the icon appears
An icon that says “Korea” is added to your home screen. From now on, just tap it to open the board.

Tips

On iPad, the Share button is at the top of the screen, to the right of the address bar.
Chrome on iPhone works too: tap the Share button to the right of the address bar, then “Add to Home Screen”.
When you open it from the home screen icon, it runs separately from Safari, so you need to log in once more the first time.

Tap “⋮” in the top-right corner
It is the button with three vertical dots to the right of the address bar.
Tap “Add to Home screen”
It may say “Install app” instead. Either one works.

If you see “Install” and “Create shortcut”, choose “Install”. When asked to confirm, tap “Add” or “Install”.

Tips

In Samsung Internet on Galaxy phones, tap “≡” at the bottom right → “Add page to” → “Home screen”.
If you cannot find it on the home screen, look in your app list. Long-press the icon to place it on the home screen.

I cannot find “Add to Home Screen”: You cannot add pages opened inside apps such as KakaoTalk, LINE or Instagram. Choose “Open in Safari” (on Android, “Open in browser”) from the menu and try again.
I want to rename or remove the icon: You can change the name when you add it. To remove it, long-press the icon and choose remove from the menu. Your account and posts are not deleted.
Will I get notifications for new posts?: Notifications are not available yet. After logging in, check replies and announcements under Notifications (the bell) on screen.
